Olivia is a criminal; a small time bootlegger for the most part, but she cannot seem to stay out of trouble. Her bad decisions take her first into the path of Freddie, a gypsy who is definitely not the kind of man you introduce to your mother, and then later, a very powerful man who can’t wait to kill her. She uses her criminal not quite master-mind to get herself out of scrape after scrape, and she can’t seem to shake the cocky gypsy off her tail.
Do not miss the chance to indulge in this book. It is different, Freddie is hot, but by no means a gentleman, and Olivia is a cunning and extremely funny character. The interactions between the characters, in particular the bedroom scenes, were refreshingly different and realistic. I also enjoyed the ‘Olivia’s Guide tips’, and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
