I received this book as a gift in return for an honest review.
This book is part of a series, each book being dedicated to a serial killer. Herbert Mullin’s life is detailed and laid bare from his childhood and then scrolls through to the killings. The facts are simply laid out and not embellished, which is a fresh quality in this genre, and the chronological layout is nicely done. I really appreciate the style that Jack Rosewood adopts for this genre and it flows well. He dishes the juicy details without gore or glamorization, and I think he gives the right amount of detail. Easy to read biographical series.
