Mason is about to embark on his biggest assignment thanks to his aunt’s restrictions on his inheritance. He has to take it seriously if he wants to get the family ranch back in his and his three brothers’ possession. Somehow, he not only has to find a wife for himself and his brothers but he also has to convince his new wife to have a baby with him, and he hasn’t even left the military yet.
Regan isn’t a country girl and she certainly doesn’t have any of the qualities that Mason requires for his ranch wife, but the sight of him in his uniform is enough to get her interested.
This is an interesting twist on a military romance. The concept is different but the romance is typical of Cora Seton’s style. She is my first choice of authors when I’m looking to read a romance book. The story is both dreamy and practical, making the reader cosy up and keep reading. The characters are well-crafted with plenty of sweet, sassy, sexy, and heart-warming qualities. I am looking forward to reading the different stories within the series to see how the other brothers do in their quest.
