I was given this book for free in return for an honest review.
Sara isn’t a popular girl by any means but things are about to get a whole lot worse. Divulged to us, via a diary written on her computer, is the awakening of Sara’s werewolf side and the terrible events that snowball out of control until Sara’s life is no longer recognizable.
This is a coming of age novel with a paranormal theme but it isn’t written for the young reader. The book contains serious adult themes and a candid voice. Sara is an honest character and you get to hear every thought that she has, even the embarrassing ones.
Taylor has an interesting way with words and her wit is refreshingly unusual. The plot begins slowly and then increases in pace with plenty of action that spans the horror and paranormal genres. It is a unique story and I really enjoyed it. It does need a polish and I feel that the cover may let it down but it kept my interest and I will be investing in the next book in the series, probably because the cliff-hanger was so enticing.
