Ghost in the Coffee Machine (Coffee and Ghosts #1) by Charity Tahmaseb

Katy inherits her grandmother’s coffee machine, and this is no ordinary tasty beverage device. Katy has been her grandmother’s understudy for years, ridding people’s homes of spirits by luring them out to the scent of freshly brewed coffee. When there’s a new player in town Katy thinks she’ll have to retire the coffeepot and get a real job but fate has other ideas.

This is a fantastic concept, and I was hooked from the start. It has all the right ingredients including a hint of romance and mysterious disturbances. What it didn’t have, however, was volume. Just as it sucked me in I was left out in the cold. This short story needs to become a whole book and if it does, then I am sure it will be fantastic.
