When Megan and Cabe meet up after spending years apart they realise that the feud their families have been nurturing still comes between them. When their niece and nephew are torn apart by the angry elders, it looks like time to step in.
This story has a dash of Romeo and Juliet, the infamous star cross lovers. The romance is short and sweet but with the backstory, it’s more a rekindling of a wasted chance. The characters are good and the series the book is in has pathed the way to a fantastically crafted world but what got to me most was the friendship between the children. The book brought tears to my eyes by using the emotions of children; brilliant.
